I"M SO EXCITED!! I feel kinda old now though.

I hope they make the story good this time around, or at least integrate it better. I don't know if I can handle two poor stories back to back on 3ds. X and Y got a pass because they were the first 3D installation of the series. Then follow it up with pokemon Z that will probably make me endure more crap story...

Oh well, this gen does have some really good pokemon, cool gym leaders, and I liked the island town a lot. Maybe we can get some actual post game this time?

If you can't handle bad stories you shouldn't be playing pokemon You've just been spoiled by Black and White having relatively good stories for pokemon games...

I'm not a massive fan of the Hoenn region itself but I do like the gym leaders and the pokemon. It will be great to see it in 3D anyways. And hopefully we'll get some nice new megas.

Also, Battle Frontier.

I'm buying it day 1 if it has the emerald battle frontier.

Are you kidding? Gens one and two had a crime syndicate as the main boss. I'll admit, gen 4 had a silly story too, but it was integrated so well, I still loved it. Gen 5 had a great story, but it was integrated so poorly, I didn't like the gen. I'm not as big on story as I am on integration. That's why 4 is my favorite story line of them all.

And yeah, gen 3 was cool. I get tired of the so called Hoenn Babies saying it was objectively the best, because it was not.

Can't wait to catch Spheal! I loved that line for whatever reason, can't wait to get him. Maybe Cacturne as well. That was a cool, cool design for a pokemon, maybe the best of that gen.

I think the thing I'm happiest about is Game Freak mixing it up and doing the remake now. It makes the one after much better and seem fresher instead of the same thing over again.

All in all, I'm excited for the path that Nintendo is taking here, I'm expanding my 3ds library a bit now, and I have to say, this may be the best handheld they've put out.

I'm excited about this too even though Hoenn was not my favorite region.

And they need to give Pokemon Bank more boxes eventually.

So I read an article, and the wording was something along the lines of "New adventure" in the press release.

I am much, much more excited with the news of a potential new game. Quite honestly, this will make it more likely that I enjoy it. I will love it if they set it in a new region or edited Hoenn. I mean, I'd play the original, but a brand new game just sounds great.

So ironically, even with the news that these games are releasing, Hoenn as we know it is not truly confirmed.

True, and I still suspect that that's all it will be, but still, I can hold out hope that the game will be different somehow.

EDIT: Just watched the video for the first time, it says "Explore a Dramatic New World".
