Decision Time

Alright, it's getting to be time where I need to decide which game I'm preordering. I'm asking for everyone's advice and reserve the right to ignore it at any time.

The situation: I liked Sapphire's story the first time through, the rain was cooler than the sun, and I like Kyogre better. However, it has been announced that Latios will be available through Omega Ruby, not its counterpart.

Thus my quandary. I think I'm leaning towards Ruby right now, because you get to fly on Latios and Kyogre and Groudon are probably getting banned to a higher uber uber tier. But I would like to hear what you guys are thinking with your preorder choices and if there will be any major differences I don't know about yet.

I'm getting Sapphire so you should get Ruby.

O.O decision time. My first 3rd gen game was Sapphire, it was my favorite compared to Ruby and so was yours. We both know what you'll choose. You'll get Latios either way. Enjoy the story that you'll play only once :'D

Getting Saphire, mainly b/c of the color of the intro as well as I want Latias.

Another question, is this going to be the emerald story? In that case I'm getting Ruby because they'll both be the same.

no, you fight team Aqua/Magma depending on the game. You fight the one that supports the game's cover legend and the opposite one is the one that helps you.

OK, going to preorder tomorrow, does anyone know of any preorder bonuses at any local or online retailers of which I should be aware? If not, I'm just going to get it at the local GameStop to keep the money here.

Also, dang it Japan, why do you get Shaymin, Victini and Keldeo through the campaign thing? I really want Shaymin.

I agree, I want Shaymin too. Japan also apparently gets another Shiny Jirachi to the distributed starting 01 December 2014. Lol.
