Just take it out. I'm assuming you'll have to get an adapter or just take apart your new computer, but that's the only way I know. You need to get power to it. Do you have an old desktop? If you know someone with a desktop, assuming it is the same connection (sata or ide, which I kinda doubt), that would be a really easy transfer because they're so easy to get into. Either way, check out the computer online and see what the hard drive and connection are, and then look for an adapter or see if it's a standard. You can post here, I'll be looking.
