I'd go Sniper because it won't be alive long enough for Swarm to have any impact.

Yeah, I figured sniper would be better but I wanted to see what everybody else thought.

It could really be its own move. Pokemon 53: (Insert throwaway event legendary here) and the Unstoppable Battle.

I think megahorn should replace pursuit as one of the egg moves. It's the strongest possible attack that Ariados can use.

How come this thing has so many potential egg moves, yet is so mediocre. Its so unfair to the other pokemon lacking egg moves lol. I like Megahorn, but don't know what moves should be replaced. I'd probably get rid of Baton Pass due to how little this thing can take from a defensive standpoint and how slow it is.

I think replacing pursuit is better, since I don't see a situation where Ariados would actually use it.

Yeah... it can't really survive anything to use Baton Pass, and it doesn't scare anything enough to force a switch lol

I guess Baton Pass could be used for switch initiative if you decide to run PU Tier Sticky Web. Pursuit probably isn't doing anything that Sucker Punch doesn't do better.

Tell you what, if anyone gets to the point where they need a Pursuit Ariados to win matches, I'll personally breed it for them.

I think the EMs should be changed too:

Baton Pass, Megahorn, Night Slash/Pursuit/Rage Powder, Toxic Spikes

If you can get this in a Pokeball I'd recommend Dream(if legal) or Luxury. If you would want help with either let me know.

I still like Trick Room Scope Lens with Cross Poison and Night Slash. 50% chance to crit isn't bad. Maybe Sucker Punch for priority.

I agree with this. Normally trick room is too gimmicky to warrant being the only set bred for most pokemon, but I think Ariados is so bad that trick room is its only saving grace.

Alright, since sniper has the most votes then ill breed one with sniper and change pursuit to megahorn. Now for a trick room set brave nature would be best right?

If you were to only breed 1 set I say Adamant is the way to go. Outspeeds everything up to max speed Serperior after 252 Adamant Agility which is nice w/ the technically free +2 if you get a crit w/ Cross Poison/Night Slash. Just not investing in speed it hits 116 which is fine if you want to use it in TR as nobody uses things that slow anyways except for other TR teams.
