| After looking through my old games, I went on a huge nostalgia trip, and as a result, I have decided to play one of my favorite games Nuzlocke style. SoulSilver is probably my favorite game besides platinum (which I will do after this one) and I am excited to do this. I'll post updates here spoiler style so you don't have anything spoiled and will alert you all to them via posts. - The Rules:
Here are my rules. Most are standard, but there are a few additional ones.
1. Any Pokemon that faints is considered unable to continue and will be stored in a box labeled something depression inducing for maximum regret. Or just graveyard. I must go through all of the Pokemon in my boxes and use up all of my available route catches to lose. Hm slaves will not count toward that but they can't battle competitively either. They may be used to catch a Pokemon if you run out but cannot be used to train them. They also can only be caught if all other options have been exhausted for the Hm move that is required to proceed and nothing can be caught.
2. Only the first Pokemon on each route may be caught. This prevents rare Pokemon farming. There will be no duplicate clause. The first is the first.
3. Every Pokemon must have a nickname. This is to develop attachment between you and them.
4. Gift Pokemon may only be used if nothing else has been caught in that locale. So if Togepi hatches on a route where I've already caught something, it cannot be used. Conversely, I can't catch anything on the route where it hatches.
5. When I have a choice between Pokemon (starter), a randomizer will be used with a number corresponding to each choice.
6. Lugia, Ho-Oh, and all other so called "box legends" must be defeated and the Master Ball never used with ONE EXCEPTION. The Master Ball may be used on its intended Target, Mewtwo, to show Team Rocket who the real mob boss is. All trio or pseudo legends or special event Pokemon like the red Gyarados must also be defeated or run from.
7. This run will not be considered complete until I collect all 16 Gym Badges, defeat them in a rematch, defeat the Elite 4 one and then in a rematch, defeat Red, seek out all trainers and legends and dispose of them, win all ranks of a Pokeathlon, Win a bug catching contest, Win a 7 streak of each branch of the battle Frontier, and any other special things I forgot, or lose all my Pokemon.
8. An in game trade does not apply to the normal Pokemon limit, because you are exchanging a Pokemon, not getting one free. The exchanged Pokemon must have been legally obtained and still considered alive.
9. Trades otherwise will not be considered. The challenge is confined to one game and one world.
- List of routes:
I will update with every catch and will leave all locales here in case of egg hatches. I'll clean it up when I get to my PC and take off the Fire Red locations.

- Introduction:
- New Bark Town:
So after I powered through the slow text introduction to the game, I let the randomizer churn out a random number and a random order, giving me Chikorita as my starter! I named him "Herb-a-Derb" (in spirit, the actual spelling in game is "Herbaderb"). So Herb and I set off to Mr. Pokemon's house with fast text enabled down Rte. 29, defeating Pidgey and Sentret along the way. Something about a "Lyra" or something, I don't know. She had a Marill that almost leveled me, so that is a point against her. We pass a red haired kid staring into the lab, but we decide it's funnier not to tell him that isn't a girls' locker room. The Guide Gent ambushed us in Cherrygrove and gave us our very first pair of running shoes. Which apparently have the power to make you younger and better in shape than you look. He also gave us a Map Card, but I doubt that will ever get used. We set off north toward Mr. Pokemon's house on Rte. 30. We stopped in at some random person's house and he gave us an Apricorn Box, so I started violently shaking trees until things fell out. After that, we got up to Mr. Pokemon's house and he gave us a Mystery Egg! A quick nap and Professor Oak came at us and handed us a Pokedex, which apparently knows all of the information already, I don't know. Coming out of Mr. Pokemon's house, disaster over the phone! Someone has stolen a Pokemon! But what are the chances it's the exact Pokemon that has the type advantage against ours? Probably negligible. We speed back through Cherrygrove and down Rte. 29 until... That red haired kid from earlier stops us in our path. We try to get by, but he, out of nowhere, challenges us to a battle! Luckily, Chikorita's training pays off and he Razor Leaf's his way to victory, growing to level 7. After the battle, we pick up his trainer card but for some reason, feel it would be more suspenseful to not remember the name on it right away. The lab looks a little out of order, and there is an open window out the back. The cop tries to accuse us with the logic "The guilty always return to the scene of the crime" (a la Barty Crouch), and we are instantly aware that there is no possible way that this police force is going to be remotely able to handle any facet of this case. I'm actually surprised they got here without incident. There's a random person here named Lyra, she's shouting something, I don't actually hear any of it. Elm tells me I should take the Pokemon Gym challenge. I agree, and go talk to Mom and let her know. She's gonna save my money (translation: she's gonna use it to buy PCP). This Lyra character follows me out, and starts jumping and stomping Pokemon in the grass, probably innocent little Sentret. There's a battle, but I don't really pay attention. After the ringing in my ears stops, I look and in my hand there are 5 Poke Balls. I guess a bird dropped them in or something, not sure. I look down Rte. 29, aware of and pondering the long journey ahead of me when I hear a rustling in the grass...
- Chapter 1 - New/Old Friends:
- Route 29:
Suddenly, a Pidgey jumps out! I can finally hear again, so I send in Herb and whittle it down with a long and well placed series of 1 Tackle. First Pokeball is a success, and Pidgey is caught! He looks a little pudgy, so I call him Pudge. He's all around (Bashful) a good guy, and seems to go even faster when dazed (Tangled Feet) Went up to Rte. 46 real quick and got a Rash Geodude. I name it Hang 10. Gonna pretend this never happened and just never come back here again. - Cherrygrove City:
Here we are, Cherrygrove City! Not much to do here now that the Guide Gent has done his thing. We stock up on a few more Pokeballs, get some Potions and an Antidote, and carry on! - Route 30:
First thing's first, we run straight to the grass and get us a Pokemon. It's a Weedle! I name it -get u hi, in hopes that a pun will make it better. It is Modest. So I won't be using this one. You'll notice, there are two branching paths here on this route. On the upper right is Mr. Pokemon's house. We've been there and done that. There was a battle blocking our way to the left, so that way we'll go. I'm cruising along, when I pass a boy in a blue cap...
- Chapter 2 - The Battles Begin:
" I just lost, so I'm trying to find more Pokemon" If that sounds familiar, well, there's a reason. That's Youngster Joey! And he wants us to battle! Herb decides that he doesn't like Joey, and dispatches him in one razor leaf. He dispatches the next trainer with the same ease. One more bug catcher for Pidgey to get some experience, and we are on to... - Route 31:
To the grass, we get...another Weedle! This time I name it DeWalt, in hopes that it will become a Beedrill. It is Gentle, so not the worst. I'll hang onto it, and catch one more and see how it looks. Pidgey cleans up the trainer on this route and at the high risk of finding another Geodude we don't want, we're going to save Dark Cave for later. Black Apricorn tree and we're out of here... ...or so we thought. This random girl blocks our path. She looks familiar, but I can't place her. She seems to know me and has a Marill. My stroke symptoms start once more, my ears turning to a loud ringing. She hands me a Vs. Recorder. I guess it's some kind of recording device. But that's weird and kind of forward for her to give me that. But we all know what these really record, huh? Wink Wink This is a LinkIt's used for recording battles. If you thought of anything else you're a filthy pervert.
- Chapter 3 - Violet Haze:
- Violet City:
So we find ourselves in a new town! Violet City is a great deal bigger than anywhere we've been yet. There's a lot to do here, but first let's slip down to Route 32 and grab us a little advance on our allowance. I won't show the map yet, but we can search and find a new Pokemon in that grass there that may benefit from the Exp. in the city. It's an Ekans! I name it DIPUTS because I'm only a 12 year old, come on. To my great surprise, she's very sure of herself (Adamant) and possesses a very formidable coloring and stature (Intimidate). I will definitely be keeping and training this one. We climbed and defeated the old men in the Sprout Tower, collecting TM70 Flash and some valuable experience for DIPUTS along the way. She and Pudge handled the tower with ease once Pudge learned Gust. I also picked up a new member, who is Mild and Level 5. We also picked up the Slugma egg from Primo with a little help from our Random Number Generator. Now Gym 1. Falkner has bad Gym Trainers, so they were a pushover. But he himself, well, not so much... The battle starts with me leading and trying to defeat the little Pidgey with Chikorita to get a Poison on the Pidgeotto. I use Poisonpowder, and then get hit with two Sand Attacks. Thinking I was going to have to sacrifice something, Falkner pulls a move right out of his hat and switches out his Pidgey right into his Pidgeotto. So I have one shot at Poison. Of course, I miss... Strategy ruined, I now have to get Pidgey in. I straight switch, and some back and forth ensues. I can't do more than his Roosts heal, so I'm in a bad spot other than the 17 Potions I have. A couple of crits scare me and I have to do something else. I switch to Ekans to cycle an Intimidate, and she gets hit with a critical hit and dies outright to a Tackle. Poor DIPUTS, I really miss her already. But there's still a battle to be won. So I still need to heal Pidgey, and Ekans is dead. So I have to sacrifice Geodude to get it done. Pidgey healed, I'm back on track. I start ramming him with Quick Attacks. Finally, it looks like I'll be able to do it. No! He lives with a very good chunk left. I know I can kill it with another attack, but it's very borderline, and if I don't, I only have 3 HP left at this point, so he will undoubtedly kill me. I muster the courage and command Pidgey to Quick Attack... And the Pidgeotto falls! I then mop up the remaining Pidgey and the battle is won! Unfortunately, two valuable Pokemon met their doom here, and I will remember them always. R.I.P.
- Chapter 4 - The Road to Azalea:
- Route 32:
Two members down, we gather ourselves, ready to journey on and make new friends! We start down the long Route 32, and since we've already caught something here (RIP Ekans), we soldier on toward Union Cave. I've moved Gastly up to the big leagues now, so he is going to get some heavy training on the Pokemon that can't hit him. Not much of note happens here, other than a few phone numbers and such. Into the Cave! - Union Cave:
We finally get to catch something else, and it turns out to be another Geodude! We name him Rocky II, which seems appropriate. Moving on, nothing much here can hit Gastly, so we get some good training done. At the end, Gastly is at 13, Chikorita is at 13, and Pidgey is at 15. - Route 33:
On to Route 33, the path to Azalea! I hurry to heal real quick, then come back, and on my way back, steps before Route 33, the egg hatches! It turns out to be Togepi! He is Serious, and we get lucky as it has Serene Grace and Extrasensory! This has a lot of potential, so I'm going to train it carefully and hopefully see it become a Togekiss. We name it Dwayne, after Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
- Chapter 5 - The City of Shrubs:
- Azalea Town:
We made it! Finally, it's time to kick this into high gear. First, we notice a Rocket picking on an old man. After asking around, the old man was apparently Kurt, the protector of the town, and we find him just in time to rush off to save the Slowpoke in the well the Rocket henchman was guarding. We follow suit. Upon arrival, we discover Kurt has fallen and can't get up in the bottom of the well. A quick dispatch of Team Rocket, and a new friend along the way, Zulander, the Zubat, and we meet a Rocket executive, Proton. He isn't much of an issue, but Team Rocket bears watching. Kurt takes us back to his house after the battle ends. We discover he can make Poke Balls out of Apricorns! We will definitely be using this later. - Bugsy's Gym:
Now, it's gym time. We plow through the gym trainers with Pudge, but along the way, Pudge becomes our first evolution! He turns into an awesome Pidgeotto!!! This will be a huge help to the Gym Leader. To Bugsy. He leads with his Scyther, and immediately uses Focus Energy, so the hax machine has been started. I just start hammering away with Gust. Several critical hits and a LOT of potions later, the Scyther falls. Then Gastly comes in to clean up, as the remaining two can't hit him. We get our second badge! Now, after healing, we decide to continue on toward Ilex Forest. But we're stopped by Adam. He's back, and with a new team. Thankfully, our team is up to the challenge and dispatches him with no trouble. So off we go to Ilex Forest!
- Chapter 6 - Into the Woods:
- Ilex Forest:
So there are apparently some lost Farfetch'd in the woods here. We see a tiny tree that we can't step over for fear of super growth, so we have to go help the kid who lost the Farfetch'd. We do it, and get our reward, HM01! We have just added a new member, Goddish the Oddish. We cut the tree, visit a crazy headbutting man for some new moves, and keep going. We meet someone who we've seen before. The Kimono Girl from Violet City! But she claims to never have been in Violet City... In any case, she's lost, and Togepi helps her out! Being the smart Pokemon that he is, of course. - Route 34:
I need to get to the city soon, because I can feel this egg getting close to hatching, and I have the perfect place in mind, so I fly through here into Goldenrod. I go to the tunnel with just enough steps to hatch our newest member, - Shorts the Slugma! Lyra says something, and then gives me her phone number, which means she's going to call me a LOT. So I'm going to ignore those. I then decide to train Herb-A-Derb on Route 34. I meet Pokefan Brandon and his Snubbull. I am battling along, and he uses Lick. It does 5 damage. I'm not sure if he snuck in a Leer and I didn't see or got a min/max, but he then lands a critical hit Bite, and it does 22 damage to kill Herb. I am heartbroken, my first companion, cut short by the hax machine known as pre 6th gen critical hits. The team looks a lot smaller now, and I have to make an alternate plan to beat Whitney, one that I don't have right now. Grief stricken, I saunter back to the Daycare, and deliver Herb to his final resting place. R.I.P.
- Chapter 7 - The Nuzlocke Stopper:
After that tragedy, we decide to go ahead and fully explore Goldenrod and the surrounding areas to try to hatch another plan to defeat Whitney. I decide that the best course of action is to catch as many Pokémon as I'm allowed and see what I get. So I grab something from the route of Herb's final battle, and it is a Rattata, which I name Ricky. He's Calm, so there's probably no chance he gets raised anytime soon. Before I go over to fully immerse myself in the fast paced life of Goldenrod City, I want to pick 2 Pokémon to stay with the daycare folks, who know Dawn in some way, I don't really know how. Something about relation, maybe they're cousins or something. Anyway, Slugma has a long road ahead to become a Magcargo, and I don't think I can train the Ekans right now, so I leave those two in the daycare as my secret weapons (a.k.a. Don't have to super grind when I get leveled) - Goldenrod City:
Finally, we are exploring Goldenrod! We go to the department store to restock on some balls and Super Potions and pick up Mom's few packages, all of which are berries. We go outside, and behind the store there is a path that we follow. There's a Bike Shop back here, but it seems kind of out of the way. The owner can't generate any business back there, so he enlists us to help by riding his bike around for advertising. For free! At least for a while. We then go to the name rater so I can nickname all of the Pokémon I didn't the first time because of 17 years of clicking "No" when asked after a battle. He lives in a tent, so that's weird. - Route 35:
We head up through town, I decide the best thing to do is to get ALL of my available Pokémon and save the battles for later. I sneak up north of town on Route 35, battling the one necessary battle and looking to slip past the others. Nope. The Juggler and the Fire Breather both catch me, and the Fire Breather nearly kills a couple members with his super powered Magmar. Healed up, we tread into the grass. We are hoping for something good, and the result is...a female Nidoran. I name it "- So Far Away" Not too bad if I could get it evolved, or it has Poison Point. Well, the first one of those isn't going to happen without a LOT of resetting. And it's a Rivalry Nidoran, so the second one doesn't happen. I will train it if there isn't anything better, but I don't want to train a Rivalry Pokémon just to beat that Miltank, and I can't get it to Nidoqueen status anyway. - National Park:
I then realize that it's Tuesday! The Bug Catching Contest is running today! With the Miltank knowing Rollout, this probably won't affect that much, but it's still a nice thing to do to get an extra Pokémon. I start, and the first thing I run into is a Butterfree, level 15! I catch it, and then keep hunting. I search for several minutes, and then find a Pinsir! He can't touch Jack Flash, so I catch Pinsir quite easily. I then keep searching for that elusive Scyther, and just as time is expiring, I find...another Pinsir! But this one has Mold Breaker! I decide to go for this one, and as the battle ends the timer expires, so I get ready for the judging. I end up with third place, and a quick IV check reveals why. Oh well, it's an Impish Pinsir (not a bad nature for a Nuzlocke) and I decide to name it D. Pinch, after a very famous Pinsir. The Contest over, the regular National Park music takes over. I walk around, picking up TM28 for Dig and teaching it to Pinsir, listening to my favorite Pokemon Track of all time. Click that link and fire it up as you read. The intro, man... So after a couple of hours, I move on to Route 36, only I don't realize it's a different route than 35 because I just realized that Pinsir learns a lot of fighting moves, which is perfect for the Normal Gym! I do notice though, that there's a weird tree blocking the route. It shakes around, which is weird. I raise Pinsir by battling everyone up north of Goldenrod that I can find. I head back to Goldenrod to clean up some battles but the Gym Leader isn't there. I hear that she's trying to get a Pokegear Radio Card. I head over and pass the quiz on the first try. She is amazed, and apparently doesn't realize she can just do it again. If I didn't know better, I'd take this lack of smarts as a lack of battling prowess. But what she lacks in brains she makes up for in skill. Pinsir seems to be my best chance at beating it, so I decide to train up Pinsir. After a lot of battles, clearing out all available ones, I stop a smidgen short of level 21, which holds Brick Break. I step into the Gym, and on the last Pokémon of the last Gym trainer, I get to level 21, and learn Brick Break. - Goldenrod Gym:
So here we are, at the Goldenrod Gym. The Gym trainers are so easy I didn't even include them here. The challenge lies ahead, Whitney and that Miltank, also known as the Nuzlocke Stopper. I know that it still won't be easy, because there's a good chance she'll be faster than me. The battle begins, and Pinsir takes out Clefairy in one hit! Only the Miltank remains. As feared, it is faster than me. It does about a third (just shy) with Stomp and Pinsir lands a Brick Break, which does a little more than half! I am pretty sure that a critical hit won't kill me, so I click Brick Break again to seal the victory... ...but Whitney has other plans, as the Stomp makes Pinsir flinch. The longer this battle goes on, the better it is for Whitney, because I don't have unlimited Super Potions and she has a Miltank that knows Milk Drink. I use a Super Potion, and get hit with another Stomp. Pinsir takes it, and I am set up to win this battle on the next turn... ...wrong again. Another flinch. At least I haven't been hit with any criticals yet. I use another Super Potion, and promptly get hit with a critical hit. I have 2 Super Potions left, and there's a very real chance Whitney is going to make me burn through them all. I use my second to last Super Potion, and take the Stomp (Thank goodness for that Impish nature). The margin ever thinning, Pinsir braces for another Stomp... And takes it without flinching! She lands the Brick Break, finishing off the Miltank, and the battle is won! Looking back and something I didn't even plan or really even think about, had I kept that first Pinsir, I would not have won that battle, because I had completely forgotten about Attract. I just happened to have a female Pinsir, had it been male, it would have used Attract right off the bat and probably haxed me right out of my Nuzlocke. MVP: D. Pinch We get the Plain Bad...no, wait, we don't. Whitney begins crying, the decibel levels ringing church bells across the ocean. She is inconsolable, so we decide to leave. A Gym trainer insists we give it one more shot and that this is normal (ba-dum ksh) for Whitney. One more time, we talk, and she finally settles down and gives us the Plain Badge and TM45 for Attract! Which I realize is actually a pretty good move for a Rivalry Pokémon. We go over to the flower shop, and since we've defeated Whitney, they give us the Squirtbottle! Now we head off toward Route 36 to take down that weird tree. - Route 36:
Instead of making a new chapter, I'm going to just include this here, seeing as there isn't much. The tree is still there, and so I use the Squirtbottle to make it angry. It attacks, and I engage in a battle with it. It turns out to be a Sudowoodo, a really cool Pokémon, but as it's a special event story encounter, it must be defeated. It's not a tough one though, and I dispatch it with relative ease. - Route 37:
There are only a few battles on this route, and Pinsir rips right through. I then realize that since this is Route 37, 36 is indeed separate and I can catch something there. I go down, and I find a Stantler! Super cool Pokémon, and it turns out to be Modest (which I find out later). I follow that up by catching something on Route 37, which also turns out to be a Stantler! It is Timid, and has much better IV's, so I take that one and decide to attempt to train it. They will both be named Mantler.
- Chapter 8 - The Two Towers:
- Ecruteak City:
Alright, we've reached the point where the game opens up. Before this, it was fairly locked into one path, but now that we've reached Ecruteak City, there are several paths we can take. So, lets take some time to explore this historic town. First thing's first, lets talk to some people to try to get things. I find the dowsing machine! I will keep this queued up as my second key item, right behind the bike. I find stuff all over the town and surrounding areas now, so I am happy with this find. I stumble over to Route 42, and find a hiker bounding out of Mt. Mortar. He is excited, like most of them, and gives me HM04, Strength, that I can already use because I have the Plain Badge. So this will help with the basement of the Burned Tower, as I think it has a boulder. - Ecruteak City:
Now, the next step is the gym, but the leader isn't here. He's out at the Burned Tower, so I will go there too. I find him with a man named Eusine, a chaser of legends obsessed with the legendary beast Suicune. He shows me the legendary beasts through a hole in the floor, but he dares not get close for fear of them bolting. Sounds like something I can mess up. I journey on, and who do I find but Adam! He's spouting some kind of nonsense, and we battle! Other than some trouble with the Quilava, I dispatch him with ease. He is mad, of course, and he storms out. We push on through the tower, finding a new member along the way! He is a Koffing, and I name him DrtyBubble, in homage to the legendary nemesis of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. We clear out the first floor, and then go to the basement. I see the legendary beasts. I approach them, and before I can get close, they take off running. But not before Suicune takes special notice of me. Eusine comes in and notices the exact same thing. Hm... - Ecruteak Gym - The Precarious Path
Leader - Morty:
Leader: Morty, the Ghost expert So, the gym leader is ready. I take along Jack Flash and start the long line of Gastly and Haunter. They don't pose much of a threat, as I use a combination of Pidgeotto and Gastly to dispatch them. I then step up to Morty, who I know will be bringing the heat. The battle begins with me knocking down the Gastly and first Haunter almost with no side effects. Then the Gengar comes in. Thinking it has Dream Eater and Hypnosis, I am at a loss for what to do other than shuffle and use Awakening. I see the usual Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, and I know Mean Look is there, but I forget that this Gengar has Sucker Punch, so I see an opening and switch in the newly acquired Stantler, right into the frying pan. With a combination of Leer, Hypnosis, and Astonish, Stantler tactfully prances around Gengar's fruitless attacks and downs the beast without so much as a scratch! The final Haunter comes in and lays down a Curse, but falls to two more Astonish. and the battle is won! I get TM 30 Shadow Ball for my troubles and the new badge allows me to use Surf! So this is when the game gets wide open. MVP: Mantler, the Ghost Killer
- Chapter 9 - Back and Forth:
Now the choices are huge. I could go down to Olivine, across to Mahogany, or I could backtrack and use Surf to explore stuff. I decide to see what there is to see off to the West. - Routes 38 & 39:
I accidentally send a Meowth flying with a critical hit, and so that is one Pokémon I won't be catching. On to Route 39, I find a Magnemite. Awesome, that's a good one to have, especially in 4th Gen. I name it Magnet P.I., and it is a very Bold Pokémon. Welcome to the team! While on the way down, a man named Baoba. He stops me and tells me he has something huge planned for trainers. It sounds fun, but it's not ready yet. - Olivine City:
I get to Olivine without incident, and see Adam again. He comes from out of the Gym and complains that the Gym Leader isn't there. Apparently she is tending to a sick Pokémon in the Lighthouse. That aside, we have a new Pokémon to catch! I get the Good Rod, and go to the water and let the line go. It is...a Krabby! I catch it, and name it "Patty", which works because it's a female. I will be using it to perform HM moves for me, as it can learn a lot of them. I think about going on to Cianwood, but I decide to go see what's happening down Route 42 first. - Route 42:
Heading over to Route 42, I decide to use my Old Rod to find me a new companion. I hook...a Magikarp! No surprise there, I catch it and decide to name her Stella. She is level 10, and Docile in nature. But she is very proud of her power, meaning she has a monster Attack stat. This will definitely be a key member moving forward. Once I train her up. I continue, avoiding battles as I go to give one more stab at getting a Magikarp. I stroll up through Route 43, not encountering anything, and get to the Lake of Rage. I get out the Old Rod and give it one more shot. I catch the Magikarp, and it is Quiet in Nature. I name it something random and put in in the box where it will stay. I then see the Red Gyarados and what I came for: that Red Scale. I launch into battle, fully expecting to have no problems. This is not the case, as Magnet P.I. immediately falls to an unexpected Dragon Rage. Now I bring in D. Pinch, and just hope he doesn't get rocked too badly. A couple of Leers and a Dragon Rage and that's all the time D. Pinch needs to secure the KO. Gyarados down, the Red Scale is ours! We jump out of the lake, and there's a guy in a cape standing there with a Dragonite. He talks to us and tells us his name is Lance. I don't know who this is, but he has a Dragonite, which is enough for me to not ask any more questions. He was impressed with our handling of the Red Gyarados, and tells us that this is linked to some shady activity in town. He asks us to help investigate. I will, but not until I definitely decide what I'm doing next. I decide to go and get to the top of the Lighthouse and see how much I can level up Stella. To help accomplish this, I take a rather large detour to Violet City. I head all the way through and most of the way back to Cherrygrove until I arrive at Mr. Pokémon's house. He sees the Red Scale and instantly wants it. He offers me the EXP Share, which I eagerly accept. This will let me train up Stella and other weak Pokémon in my boxes much easier. Back to the Lighthouse now. - Glitter Lighthouse:
I don't really encounter any resistance here, but when I get to the top, I see the sick Ampharos and the Gym Leader Jasmine. She's very softspoken and refuses to leave Ampharos until it is well again. She enlists me to go get medicine at Cianwood and I happily oblige. But I'm not sure my Pokémon are ready to go all the way down to Cianwood and deal with everything that Gym has to offer. So I decide to help Lance back at Mahogany town. First, though, I drop down to Route 40 and get me a Pokémon while Surfing. Obviously, I know what that will be. It is a Tentacool, one of my favorite Pokémon. I catch it and name it LL Cruel J in hopes that it will get to be a full fledged Tentacruel with some training. It turns out to be Timid, which is fantastic. - Route 43:
When I get to Mahogany, I decide to head up to Route 43 to grab some more experience. On the last battle on this route, Stella reaches level 20, and you know what that means, the reign of terror is about to begin. Stella evolves into a Gyarados! She learns Bite, and we are ready to go knock the crap out of some Rockets. One other thing I did while up here was to catch my Pokémon for this route. It turns out to be a Flaaffy! I catch it and check it out, it's Calm! That's great news considering my team is in need of a good special Tank, and Ampharos fulfills this role quite well. I name it BAMPH. - Mahogany Town - Part I:
I head straight to the hideout I was told about, and who do I see but Lance. His Dragonite is using Hyper Beam to finish off a weak trainer's Pokémon. He then leads me down into the hideout to uncover the mystery of the radio signal and the effects on the Lake of Rage. We trudge through a LOT of battles with Stella, edging her up little by little, and then find Lance again. He heals up my Pokémon, and we continue, now looking for a Password to get into the leader's chamber. We find a Gruntess that we beat and she tells us the Password. But she informs us that we need TWO Passwords, so we keep looking. Shortly after, we find a Grunt who tells us the other password and we're good to go. We continue, aiming toward the boss chamber, and who stops us but Adam. He apparently was trashed by Lance and also received a lesson about Pokémon in the process. So he's pretty cheesed off now, more than usual. We then input the two Passwords and gain access. We approach the figure under the fedora and trenchcoat, who looks quite familiar, with a Murkrow sitting away in the corner. We engage, and he informs us that he is Giovanni, former leader of Team Rocket who disappeared three years ago! But upon inspection, we realize that this is not the Kanto crime boss, merely an impersonator. His real name is Petrel, and he gives us the password to the radio broadcaster room!?! But he also tells us that it is voice activated, and that we can't get in even if we know the password! So we battle anyway, and he runs off before we can do anything. It seems we won't be able to help those poor Magikarp, so we'll just have to go on... That is, until the Murkrow in the corner shows us his talent of imitation. He mimics the voice of Petrel saying the password, "Hail Giovanni", perfectly and runs away, prompting me to give chase. We may be able to save those Magikarp yet! We run back toward the entrance, getting to the voice activated panel. The Murkrow screams the password in Petrel's voice, and the door opens! We rush inside, determined to shut it off. But I am met once again by the pesky Team Rocket, and one of the two coming after me doesn't look like an ordinary Grunt. In fact, she's an Admin and her name is Ariana, and that means she will have the cream of the Rocket Pokémon crop. Just as they're about to attack me two on one, Dragonite rushes in and stops them! Lance jumps in and scolds them for picking an unfair fight, and then the battle begins! He pulls out his Level 40 Dragonite, 15 levels higher than any of the opposing Pokémon, and I just sit back and let Stella collect some experience. After a painful, Glare and Minimize filled hax fest, we eventually prevail, and the Admin and Grunt run off. We rush in to the power room, three Electrode flanking the broadcast machine on each side pumping electricity to it. Lance realizes that there is no power switch, so we have to make the Electrode faint. I go ahead and catch the first one, name it "Ballin'", and kill the other two. Lance and I have a chat, and then we're off to Olivine!
- Chapter 10 - All I Can Sea:
We rejoin the adventure, freshly beaten Rockets driven from their ninja hideout, and myself and the crew rolling on toward Olivine City. The path is clear towards Cianwood and the crew should be high enough level to compete at the Gym there. So we embark. - Detour - Violet City:
I make a quick stop at Violet City, as I was looking over the unclaimed Routes, and that didn't have anything yet. So I jumped down and got a Poliwhirl, which is awesome, because I really want a Poliwrath. It is Impish with Damp, so I'm going to try to get a few more, seeing as I don't really have enough EXP to train it up right now anyway, and I'd like it to be able to take advantage of Vacuum Wave. I do the same in the Ruins of Alph, and get a Gentle Poliwag. Not great. - Routes 40 & 41:
I will lump these together, because they are kind of just an extension of each other. Lots of swimmers and lots of Water types. Luckily, none of them can touch Stella, so we are good. We find another Tentacool, but he is Jolly and probably won't see much action. - Cianwood City:
Finally, the main attraction. This city is pretty small, but there are very specific things to do here. First thing's first, we go to the Pharmacy and get the Secretpotion to help Amphy. Second, I travel to the north of the island and see a familiar face, Suicune. He once again runs around me and looks me in the eye. Right behind as usual is Eusine. He decides that if he beats me he will gain the approval of Suicune, so the battle begins! I understand why Suicune doesn't like him, because he isn't that good. Battle won, we head back to the Pokémon Center to heal up before the big Gym battle. - Cianwood Gym - The Incoming Storm:
When you walk into the Gym, Chuck is right there! We walk up to him, ready to fight, but he doesn't hear us, because he's standing under a Waterfall. So it becomes apparent that we need to fight our way up the cliffs to shut off the water. We do so, with Gyarados having little to no trouble. We shut off the water and approach the man under the waterfall. He is balding and heavyset, but he packs a punch. The battle begins with me leading with Gyarados for the Intimidate on Primeape. I realize that I don't really have much for the Primeape, as I was so geared to take down the Poliwrath that I sort of wrote off the Primeape. His Rock Slides aren't doing that much, but enough where a critical hit will kill me, but he immediately goes to the Gym Leader hax well and uses Double Team. Luckily, Stella is faster and hits a Dragon Rage on the first turn, taking it down exactly half. I am faster too, so there's a good chance I can just beat it right now. Not so, as the Primeape must have had 81 HP. It is left with a sliver. So I realize that a Potion is coming, so I use this opportunity to switch out Gyarados, because it is my win condition against Poliwrath. Plus, Pinsir has the same resistance set and better defenses, so I go ahead with it. It absorbs the -1 Rock Slides well, and with some Potions (and misses due to Double Team) I run it out of Rock Slides. I am pretty sure it has a fighting move for the last one, so I go ahead and don't heal up. This proves to be my demise, as the last move is Focus Punch. Pinsir can take one, I know that, but Pinsir can't manage to take a Critical Hit, which is exactly what Chuck gets, sending Pinsir down. I can't believe it, as Pinsir saved me against Whitney and has been a staple on my team since Herb went down. But once again, there is still a battle to be won. I switch to Stella and hope for a miracle. Stella, once again, delivers, as she lands a Dragon Rage as a Focus Punch was charging up. Now the Poliwrath comes in. My original plan was to get off an Intimidate, but that plan is out the window now. It performs a Body Slam after Stella lets loose a Dragon Rage, and paralyzes Stella. This isn't the worst thing, because now Hypnosis can't do anything to Stella. And with the Chilan Berry I had attached, the damage was almost nothing. So it wasn't a very hard battle the rest of the way. Chuck defeated, we get the move Focus Punch, and remember our fallen friend, D. Pinch the Pinsir. MVP: Stella RIP: D. Pinch
- Chapter 11 - do u even lift bro?:
- Glitter Lighthouse - Part II:
I step out of the Gym, and Chuck's wife stops me and hands me HM02 for Fly! I can get the medicine back to Amphy real quick now. I do, and Jasmine returns to the Gym. Seeing as I just lost my Magnemite destroyer, I need to come up with another plan. I walk out, and Baoba, the guy I met on Route 39, says he has the Safari Zone open! I go back to Cianwood, ready to explore this new area. - Cliff's Edge, Route 47, Cliff Cave, Route 48, and Safari Gate:
This is a lot, but there's a reason for that. I can't catch anything in Cliff's Edge Gate and Route 47 (nothing I want yet anyway), and the Safari Gate is just a Headbutt Pokémon. There also aren't that many trainers (but I do avoid the pair with the Electabuzz, that could wreck me). I nab Golbat in the Cliff Gate (Docile, not bad, but typing doesn't fit well right now) and name it -OuttaHeck. On Route 48, I made a stop in the grass and found a Vulpix! Finally, something promising. Buuuuut it's Jolly, which kind of ruins Ninetales. Slugma is better off as my fire type. I use Headbutt in the Safari Gate, and get a HootHoot, a good backup for Pudge. Except, it's Naïve, trashing the one good thing about Noctowl, its Special Defense. I named it Seiko. So that's a pretty disappointing run there, considering there are so many good Pokémon here. - Safari Zone:
The Safari Zone guy, Baoba, greets us as we walk in. He also wants to let us in on the ground floor, so he gives us a test. Go catch a Geodude. Disclaimer: I didn't put anything in the rules about the Safari Zone, because I forgot about it, but this is how this will work. You need to catch the Sandshrew and Geodude to unlock full functionality of the Safari Zone. I am going to regard those two as gift Pokémon that don't count toward the official count, and the first official Safari Zone Pokémon will be the one that appears after the two tests it takes to get the Safari Zone unlocked. I will keep the Geodude and Sandshrew, though, because I have no other choice but to catch them. We catch the Geodude, name it Rocky III, and he tells us it will be a little while until the next test is ready. So we'll hold off on this area for now. - Training:
Now I go around with Surf and find all of the hidden trainers and such in caves and routes that I can use to level up Stella and BAMPH as much as I can before I have to take down the Gyms. I get BAMPH to level 31, which is enough for an Ampharos! I also get Stella to 31, but use my 4 Rare Candies on her, getting her to 35 and the all important Aqua Tail. - Mahogany Gym - The Old Glacier:
I can't handle Jasmine yet, so I'll buy time by getting Pryce out of the way. Pryce is the man. He is like 70, and can still take the ice cold weather like it's nothing. Anyway, all of his Gym Trainers were previously cleared out in training, so all that's left is him. I lead with BAMPH (who unfortunately only knows Thundershock) and he with Seel. It doesn't take long for Seel to go down, but not before he gets a Hail off. So in comes the behemoth, Piloswine. I switch to Stella, but the Intimidate doesn't matter, because he's firing off Blizzards. Stella tanks it very nicely, and now she has to hit an Aqua Tail through Snow Cloak. And she does! Not only that, she takes down the Piloswine in one hit, and leaves only the Dewgong. An easy feat, she handles it with no problems. That's our 6th badge, the Glacier Badge. MVP: Stella - Olivine Gym - Soft as a Pillow but Tough as Nails:
Somewhere between me trying to let the RageCandyBar guy let me through (bought one, but didn't change anything) and fretting about what can actually kill those Magnemite (because BAMPH only has Thundershock and Tackle for now) it dawned on me. Focus Blast. I can buy Focus Blast at the Goldenrod Dept. Store. So I do that, and I put it on BAMPH. (For kicks, I did one pull of the Daily Drawing Corner, and I got the number one prize!) So, nervous as can be, I stroll in, ready to take on what is probably the biggest battle I've faced yet. There are no trainers in this Gym, only Jasmine. There are people from the lighthouse cheering me on along the way. I place the Choice Specs on BAMPH. At the end stands Jasmine, as unassuming as ever. She explains that she uses the Steel Type. The battle begins! She sends out Magnemite. The Focus Blast lands! It's a One Hit KO! The second Magnemite appears. Another hit! Two down, one to go! Then out comes the Steelix. With Choice Specs, this battle will be over if BAMPH can successfully land three Focus Blasts in a row. And he does! The Steelix falls, and BAMPH stands alone. She gives us Iron Tail, but in this era of Pokémon, that isn't that useful. MVP: BAMPH

| - Chapter 12 - Rocket Resurgence Radio:
As soon as we step out of the Olivine Gym, we hear Professor Elm on the phone telling us something is wrong with the radio broadcast, and that they're saying something about Team Rocket. I tune in, and sure enough, something has happened and all stations are broadcasting the same message. Team Rocket has taken over the Radio Tower and are attempting to simultaneously control Pokémon and pull Giovanni out of hiding at the same time! - Phase I - Reconnaissance and Recruitment:
I need to first see what is going on. Since this is a new development, I can slip in and find any weak points. I can't get up the tower, so I look to see what's happening in the Underground. There's not much, but a new recruit mistakes me for another new recruit and gives me a Rocket uniform. This is my ticket into the Radio Tower. Dressed up, I attempt to slide into the tower... Until Adam comes and challenges the guard with me right there. Even though I turn away, he insists upon ruining my disguise like an idiot. We battle the guard, who is surprisingly decently leveled, and move on. - Phase II - The Steady Climb:
Now I'm in. It's time to switch from sneakiness to brute strength. I start the climb through the myriad of Rocket members, training up Pudge and Dirty Bubble as I go. I make it all the way to the top, and find the director! Except he isn't the director, he is an impostor! It turns out to be Petrel, the exec. we met in the hideout in Mahogany. We defeat him and his floating smog factory of Koffing and Weezing. We force him to disclose the location of the real director, and take his basement Key Card. - Phase III - The Underground Organization:
I run to the Underground, and see that there is a door there that I hadn't even noticed before. I rush in, ready to take on the Rockets and save the director. And then Adam appears again, this time raring to go. I say "bring it on", and we go at it. His team is pretty good, but Stella has the upper hand when it comes to coverage, so that is a battle that swings pretty hard in my favor. After that, Stella continues her path of destruction, thrashing through Rocket and common thief alike. We find the director, and he's stuffed in with some boxes in what turns out to be a hidden room under the department store. He gives us the key to the Observation Deck, and we set off, ready to foil Team Rocket's plans to control Pokemon. - Phase IV - Showdown at High Noon:
The branching path on the 4th floor is now available to us thanks to the new Key Card. We go in, and it's going to be executives from here on out. We see Proton, from the Slowpoke Well, and we remind him of what he's missed since that day long ago. Next, it's Ariana, the woman that tried to cowardly attack with two people. She's alone now, and I show that with or without Lance, that outcome would have been the same. Finally, I walk into the elevator to the Observation Deck. Silence grips me and the 6 companions with me. The elevator stops, I turn to Stella, and if she was feeling nervous, she certainly wasn't showing it, as she was ready to bound in ahead of me and take on the mystery man all by herself. I walk in slowly but surely, as I confront the man looking out the window. His name is Archer, and he was one of many Rockets that were unhappy with the disbanding three years prior. He continued operations underground, and hoped that he would be able to someday regain enough strength to make a move. Well, here he is, standing on the top of the Radio Tower, the last battlement between success and failure. He sends out Houndour, level 35. Stella lands an Aqua Tail. One down. Next comes Koffing, level 35. Aqua Tail followed by Headbutt. Two down. The final Pokemon, the last stand for Team Rocket, is a Houndoom. Level 38. Powerful as it was, that Houndoom was not going to be able to out work Stella, who lands a decisive Aqua Tail to take down the Houndoom. Out of Pokemon, Archer is forced to disband Team Rocket once again. MVP - Stella The Aftermath The signal reset, the director comes in and thanks me for my help. He gives me a Silver Wing, and lets me know that the mythical Pokemon of the Whirl Islands will appear with that and one more thing...
- Chapter 13 - Seeking Clair-ity:
Team Rocket is gone. Now, we can get past the Mahogany Candy Man and get to Route 44. - Route 44:
Not much here, get a Hasty Weepinbell (great nature), and name it Pepper, and continue on. - Route 44:
Super excited to get this going, there are some awesome Pokemon in here. The first on is...a Delibird. I am so angry I just kill it. Not like they are useful in a Nuzlocke anyway. Not much else save for HM07 Waterfall, which I promptly teach to Stella. - Blackthorn City:
Blackthorn city looms high in the mountains, and is the alleged town started by Dragon trainers. So I immediately know what my task is. A fight with Dragons. Safari Interlude Baoba calls, and the second task is ready. I go there, catch the Sandshrew, and then set up the Safari to get me something I want. That turns out to be Poliwag/whirl, and I get a Poliwag that turns out to be Quiet, which is perfect for this Pokemon. So I start training it. Training I get some training done, as I really needed it. I get BAMPH to 41, Stella to 40, Hypnotoad to 37 and Poliwrath status, and Pudge to 36 and Pidgeot Status!! - Blackthorn Gym - Mercury Rising:
Whew, this gym is hot! And I'm not talking about the leader (because seriously, she's not), but the lava. We have to move the platforms around and navigate through 5 trainers. The trainers are strong, but not too bad, and we arrive at the Lair of Clair. I lead with BAMPH, and forget that she has a Gyarados in this version, which works out very well. A Charge Beam takes care of it, no problem. I get the SpA raise, so we're sitting pretty for the battle. Dragonair follows, and BAMPH hits a Focus Blast, and it barely misses the KO. With the Potion coming, I use Charge Beam, doing a little damage but not getting the raise. BAMPH takes some damage in the process, and kills the Dragonair. I expect another Dragonair, so I didn't set up Light Screen. But she turns the battle on a dime and brings in Kingdra straightaway. I use a Potion to heal up BAMPH, and Kingdra launches a Hydro Pump. BAMPH is my strongest special tank, so I have a pretty good ability to sponge this hit... Unless the Sniper sporting Kingdra gets a critical hit, which it does. BAMPH has no chance to stand up to a 300% damage hit. BAMPH down, I bring in Stella. Stella hits a Headbutt, and Kingdra hits a Dragon Pulse. Another Headbutt takes it into Sitrus Berry activation, and he has a little under 75% left. With no flinching, the Dragon Pulse hits and takes Stella to about a third health. I use a Potion, and heal it up to full health to take another hit... And Clair dips into the hax well again, and lands another critical hit. Stella is down. My two strongest and best chances to win this are down. I need to pull out a miracle if I hope to win this, but it is looking like there will be a very tedious Nuzlocke ahead. I don't think Poliwrath can take it now, so I have to go into Pudge and hope for the best. I assume that Pidgeot is faster than Kingdra, so I command Pudge to Fly. This proves to be wrong, as Kingdra jumps out and fires off a Hydro Pump, and I'm pretty sure Pudge can't take it... But it misses! Pudge gets away and flies high. Kingdra misses on the turn in the air, and Pidgeot does about 55% to bring it to 10%. I expect the Potion, so I use Sand Attack. Except Clair throws another curve and uses Hyper Beam before I get the Sand Attack off... But she misses again! So I use Quick Attack to finish it off. But it doesn't quite do the job! The Kingdra launces another Hyper Beam, and no Pokemon could expect to live that. Except Pudge! He dodges another move, and this Quick Attack finishes it off! All that's left is the Dragonair, and I'm glad I saved Hypnotoad for this, because he easily deals with it. Battle over, a wasteland of fallen companions and a distraught Gym Leader not quite ready to give up her badge... Let's not forget who fell here. Two Pokemon, one, the MVP of the team for many battles, and who single handedly defeated Team Rocket in two different locations, and the other a perfect match for it in battles and on the team. It is fitting they should go out together, they were the backbone of the team, and they will be sorely missed, not just as teammates, but as friends. MVP: Pudge RIP: Stella, BAMPH - Dragon's Den:
Clair can't accept the fact that we beat her, even though she haxed me out twice. She tells me that I have to go to the Dragon's Den to pass a test. I weave my way through, taking Poliwag for Whirlpool, and make it to the Dragon Shrine. There's an old man here, and he knows exactly what's happening before we even tell him. Clair is apparently just a little bit too much in this town, but nevertheless, he recognizes her authority and administers the test anyway. We get a series of questions, and we answer well on all of them. We pass the test, and Clair rushes in, eager for us to have failed like her. When she learns that we passed, she throws a fit and refuses to give us the badge out of spite until the old man threatens to tell Lance about her antics. She coughs it up, and we get the last of the Johto Badges, the Rising Badge! We turn and leave, and on the way out, we see Clair, who has settled down a bit, and gives us a new TM, 59 for Dragon Pulse. We turn back around, and go to visit the old man again. He gives us a Dratini! And apparently, I love Pokemon so much that I get a special Dratini with Extremespeed! It is Docile Nature, great, and has very good IV's all around. This will absolutely be the next Pokemon I train.
- Chapter 14 - Housekeeping:
I have some housekeeping to do. With Waterfall now at my disposal, there are so many places I can go now. I go over to Route 47 and catch a Pokemon. It's a Ditto , hm, not the best thing in the world, but I do have a Choice Scarf, so we'll see, maybe something to consider. It's Impish, and has Quick Powder, so that would be a good quick Transformation. Now we go to Mt. Mortar to challenge the Karate King. He will give us a Tyrogue, so I want to add that and see if it's a good member. On our way, we see something hiding down behind the Cut bush. It's Suicune! He chases us back and runs off. Eusine shows up and continues the chase. - Mt. Mortar:
Inside Mt. Mortar, I'm not that interested in the main two entrances, I want to go down the third Waterfall guarded entrance. So down we go. Navigating through a BUNCH of cave, we finally come to Blackbelt Kiyo. He is also known as the Karate King from Kanto. He is in this cave training up his Pokemon. So we decide to help along the training a bit. He needs to do some more training, because Pudge handles him with two Fly's. He gives us a Tyrogue , which I plan on turning into a Hitmonchan. It's Hardy, which is actually quite nice. I can use one of my two Drain Punch TM's on it, I need something to do with those anyway. More to come!

| Props to the grass starter. I know you let the RNG decide on this one, but still. (In all of my previous playthroughs, I always pick the Grass starter). | |

| Ok, clarification for the bug catching contest. Since the rules state that my objective is to win a bug catching contest, this is the one place I am allowed to get something other than my first encounter. But the limitation will be this. I am only allowed to use the Pokemon from my first contest, even if it isn't the first encounter. And since the contest is a different pool of Pokemon, it counts as a different route. | |

| Ok, sorry for the delays everyone, I have three massive chapters typed up ready to go soon, but I want to give you a sneak peek and have a little audience participation.
I have the eevee from bill. It is a hasty nature, with perfect special attack IV, but horrible speed IV. Here's my question, and I'll put it in a poll, which Eeveelution should I evolve it into? There's no promise it will even be used, but for arguments sake, let's say it is. Remember, it's hasty with good attack and special attack (read mixed) and bad speed. Vote!

| Three new chapters are posted! I decided to take the little Pokemon pictures out of there, I like them, but they break up the paragraphs a LOT. Plus, it's easier this way. I won't update the team list and the catch list quite yet, as the team is a LOT farther along than what shows here. Everything is written, but not uploaded, so I'll be able to upload some more adventures either later tonight or this weekend. Enjoy! | |

| LOTS more adventures posted, jump in and give it a read! A LOT happened, so I'll give everyone a chance to read them.
Also, MC, is there a way to inject a response in the thread? I hit the limit on characters for the first post, and I may need a third one before it's all over.

| Alright, another update in the aftermath of the last chapter. If you haven't read it, I suggest you go give it a whirl. The rest of this post will be in a spoiler, to protect those that haven't read it yet. Once you've read it, be sure to read this post before you vote on the next team members. - Spoiler:
Due to the last chapter, I have some holes to fill and some seriously good training spots coming up. This is the time to change around my team. I have listed all of my current Pokemon in a poll, with the crappy natured ones not there, to let you guys influence it. My plan is to bring along Slugma, Weepinbell, and Koffing. I think Koffing is the strongest contender so far, but I am open to suggestions. The current team staples are Dratini (who is coming regardless), Pidgeot, and Poliwrath. So I have an Electric problem already, as long as an eventual Rock problem as well, so keep that in mind because stuff like Togekiss, as much as I want one, may not work here.
Other options: The Tyrogue is now available, so I can go get that. Also, the Route 47 will now yield me something, so I can try that as well. Other waterfall locked places I can go try to get and maybe yield some more. Keep an eye out for the poll to be updated very soon with the new Pokemon I get.

| Alright, I actually just figured out that I'm locked out of Victory Road for now, so I'll take the winning Pokemon so far, Magcargo, and add Hitmonchan, a runner up, and that will be the 5 for now. When I get more Pokemon before the Pokemon League I'll add them to the poll and change it to a single vote for the last one. | |

Not really inject, but what you could do is split the thread after the first post, then post what you have to post, then merge back the thread.

| Sorry guys, it's September baseball season, among other things, and I haven't played very much. I'm sitting in front of a phone programming problem that is massive and chipping away at it, and I can't stop until I figure out what to do with it. I'll have some more probably next week when I go home and have time in the car. Also, I've been training up my underleveled Pokemon anyway, so most of what i've been doing is boring. | |
